Die Litauische Rechtsanwaltskammer (lit. Lietuvos advokatΕ«ra) ist ein nationaler Zusammenschluss von RechtsanwΓ€lten in Litauen. Ihr Sitz befindet sich in Vilnius. Die AufsichtsbehΓΆrde ist das Justizministerium Litauens. Die Kammer verbindet ΓΌber 2.000 RechtsanwΓ€lte und 800 Rechtsanwaltsgehilfen.

Geschichte

Im Dezember 1920 wurde der Rat von vereidigten RechtsanwΓ€lten (PrisiekusiΕ³jΕ³ advokatΕ³ taryba) gebildet. 1923 wurden vereidigte RechtsanwΓ€lte zu Richtern berufen, da die Gerichte zu viel Arbeit hatten. Ab 1927 wurden die Dienstleistungen auch pro bono geleistet.
